This Privacy Policy describes how Scan Base ("we", "us", "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application ("the App").
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password via Firebase Authentication.
Documents you scan. When you tap "Save & Upload", the document images and metadata (title, category, creation date) are uploaded to Firebase Cloud Storage and Cloud Firestore, accessible only to your account.
Extracted text (OCR). Text recognition runs on your device. If you use the OCR feature on a saved document, the extracted text is stored alongside that document so you can search it.
Subscription information. Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to track subscription status; this involves a pseudonymous user identifier and your subscription state, not your payment details.
Guest mode. If you choose "Continue without an account", no data is uploaded. Your scans live only on your device.

You can delete individual documents at any time from within the App. You can permanently delete your entire account (including all documents, folders, and uploaded files) from Settings → Delete account.
Scan Base is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
